Text tokens (per 1M): $5.00 input, $1.25 cached. Image tokens (per 1M): $8.00 input, $2.00 cached, $30.00 output. Sunburst and Flare are priced the same. Cost depends mostly on quality and image size; the default is high. See the table at the bottom of this page for the cost per image. Total cost is rounded up to the nearest $0.0001.

Your total cost per request is the table price plus:
- Prompt text, at $5.00 per 1M tokens. A short prompt adds about $0.0001, and a 500-word prompt adds about $0.003.
- Each extra image when
num_images is above 1.
- Partial images when streaming, 100 output tokens ($0.003) each.
With quality: auto the model picks the quality, so the cost can reach the max column. Width and height must be multiples of 16; 1920×1080, for example, is generated as 1920×1072.
