Built by Kuaishou, the Beijing-based technology company behind one of China's largest short-video platforms, Kling is a family of generative video models designed for cinematic motion, strong prompt adherence, and real-world physics.
First launched in June 2024, Kling pairs a diffusion-transformer (DiT) architecture with a custom 3D variational autoencoder to produce fluid, high-resolution video from text or images. The lineup has rapidly advanced, adding native audio, multi-shot storyboarding, and reference-based consistency along the way.
