fal and Freepik's F Lite delivers 10 billion parameter diffusion quality at $0.025 per megapixel, trained exclusively on 80 million copyright-safe, SFW images from Freepik's internal dataset. Trading maximum resolution flexibility for legal compliance and commercial safety, this is the first publicly available model at this scale built entirely on licensed content. Ideal for commercial teams prioritizing copyright clearance without sacrificing generation quality.
Use Cases: Brand Marketing Assets | E-commerce Product Visualization | Editorial Content Creation
F Lite is the copyright-safe alternative in the 10B parameter class, delivering commercial-grade generations at $0.025 per megapixel, roughly 40 generations per dollar for standard landscape outputs.
| Metric | Result | Context |
|---|---|---|
| Training Dataset | 80M copyright-safe images | First 10B model trained exclusively on licensed data |
| Inference Speed | ~28 steps default | Configurable 1-50 steps via guidance_scale parameter |
| Cost per Megapixel | $0.025 | 40 generations per $1.00 on fal for standard landscape format |
| Parameter Count | 10 billion | Diffusion architecture optimized for prompt adherence |
| Related Endpoints | F Lite (texture mode) | Specialized variant for material and surface generation |
F Lite uses a 10 billion parameter diffusion architecture trained on Freepik's curated dataset, every image legally licensed and content-moderated. Unlike models trained on scraped web data, this eliminates copyright infringement risk in commercial workflows.
What this means for you:
Legal compliance built-in: Generate assets for client work, marketing campaigns, or commercial products without copyright clearance bottlenecks
Configurable inference control: Adjust from 1-50 steps and guidance scale 1-20 to balance speed vs quality for your workflow, with negative prompting for precise output refinement
Batch generation efficiency: Generate up to 4 images per request with consistent seed control for variation testing, reducing API overhead for iterative creative processes
SFW content guarantee: Built-in safety checker (optional disable) ensures brand-safe outputs for public-facing campaigns, trained exclusively on work-safe imagery from the ground up

AuraFlow Text to Image ($0.028/megapixel) – F Lite prioritizes copyright compliance through exclusively licensed training data for commercial safety at comparable cost ($0.025 vs $0.028). AuraFlow offers broader stylistic range from web-scale training for creative exploration where legal provenance is less critical.
F Lite (texture mode) ($0.025/megapixel) – The texture variant specializes in material and surface generation with the same copyright-safe foundation. Standard F Lite handles general scene composition and subject matter, while texture mode optimizes for seamless patterns, material swatches, and surface detail work.
