# VEED Dubbing Pro

> Dubs videos up to 10 minutes into 94 languages and 14 regional accents with cloned voices and lip-sync. Supports target accent and voice cloning strength controls, multiple speakers, and background audio preservation.

## Overview

- **Endpoint**: `https://fal.run/veed/dubbing/pro`
- **Model ID**: `veed/dubbing/pro`
- **Category**: video-to-video
- **Kind**: inference
**Description**: VEED Dubbing Pro translates videos up to 10 minutes long into 94 languages and 14 regional accents with cloned voices and synchronized lip movements. It supports multiple speakers, preserves background audio, and provides target accent selection through regional language tags. Voice cloning strength ranges from 0 to 10, balancing similarity to the original voice and accent against naturalness in the target language. Source language detection can be automatic or explicit, while keyterms help preserve names, brands, and other terminology.

**Tags**: dubbing, video translation, lip sync, voice cloning, multilingual

## Pricing

Billing is calculated at **$0.18 per second of input video**. A **60-second** video costs **$10.80**. Videos can be up to **10 minutes** long.

For more details, see [fal.ai pricing](https://fal.ai/pricing).

## API Information

This model can be used via our HTTP API or more conveniently via our client libraries.
See the input and output schema below, as well as the usage examples.

### Input Schema

The API accepts the following input parameters:

- **`video_url`** (`string`, _required_):
  Video to dub, up to 10 minutes long and with speech in its audio track. The speech is translated into the target language, and the speakers' lips are synced to the dubbed voices.
  - Examples: "https://v3.fal.media/files/monkey/q1fDPhrpfjfsaRmbhTed4_influencer.mp4"

- **`target_language`** (`TargetLanguageEnum`, _required_):
  Language to dub into, optionally with a regional dialect (e.g. 'es-MX', 'pt-BR'). Case-insensitive; for a language without dialects the region is ignored ('de-DE' = 'de'), and an unsupported dialect is rejected.
  - Options: `"af"`, `"ak"`, `"am"`, `"ar"`, `"ar-EG"`, `"as"`, `"az"`, `"be"`, `"bg"`, `"bo"`, `"bs"`, `"ca"`, `"ceb"`, `"cmn"`, `"cs"`, `"cy"`, `"da"`, `"de"`, `"dgo"`, `"el"`, `"en"`, `"en-AU"`, `"en-CA"`, `"en-GB"`, `"en-US"`, `"es"`, `"es-AR"`, `"es-CL"`, `"es-ES"`, `"es-MX"`, `"et"`, `"eu"`, `"fa"`, `"fi"`, `"fil"`, `"fr"`, `"fr-CA"`, `"fr-FR"`, `"gl"`, `"gu"`, `"ha"`, `"he"`, `"hi"`, `"hr"`, `"hu"`, `"hy"`, `"id"`, `"is"`, `"it"`, `"ja"`, `"jv"`, `"ka"`, `"ki"`, `"kk"`, `"kn"`, `"ko"`, `"ky"`, `"lg"`, `"lt"`, `"lv"`, `"mk"`, `"ml"`, `"mn"`, `"mr"`, `"ms"`, `"my"`, `"ne"`, `"nl"`, `"no"`, `"nso"`, `"pa"`, `"pl"`, `"pt"`, `"pt-BR"`, `"pt-PT"`, `"rn"`, `"ro"`, `"ru"`, `"rw"`, `"sd"`, `"sk"`, `"sl"`, `"sq"`, `"ss"`, `"st"`, `"su"`, `"sv"`, `"sw"`, `"ta"`, `"te"`, `"tg"`, `"th"`, `"tn"`, `"tr"`, `"ts"`, `"ug"`, `"uk"`, `"ur"`, `"uz"`, `"ve"`, `"vi"`, `"war"`, `"wo"`, `"yo"`, `"yue"`, `"zh"`, `"zh-TW"`, `"zu"`
  - Examples: "es"

- **`source_language`** (`SourceLanguageEnum`, _optional_):
  Language spoken in the video. 'auto' (the default) detects it; set it explicitly if detection picks the wrong language. Default value: `"auto"`
  - Default: `"auto"`
  - Options: `"auto"`, `"af"`, `"ak"`, `"am"`, `"ar"`, `"as"`, `"az"`, `"be"`, `"bg"`, `"bo"`, `"bs"`, `"ca"`, `"ceb"`, `"cmn"`, `"cs"`, `"cy"`, `"da"`, `"de"`, `"dgo"`, `"el"`, `"en"`, `"es"`, `"et"`, `"eu"`, `"fa"`, `"fi"`, `"fil"`, `"fr"`, `"gl"`, `"gu"`, `"ha"`, `"he"`, `"hi"`, `"hr"`, `"hu"`, `"hy"`, `"id"`, `"is"`, `"it"`, `"ja"`, `"jv"`, `"ka"`, `"ki"`, `"kk"`, `"kn"`, `"ko"`, `"ky"`, `"lg"`, `"lt"`, `"lv"`, `"mk"`, `"ml"`, `"mn"`, `"mr"`, `"ms"`, `"my"`, `"ne"`, `"nl"`, `"no"`, `"nso"`, `"pa"`, `"pl"`, `"pt"`, `"rn"`, `"ro"`, `"ru"`, `"rw"`, `"sd"`, `"sk"`, `"sl"`, `"sq"`, `"ss"`, `"st"`, `"su"`, `"sv"`, `"sw"`, `"ta"`, `"te"`, `"tg"`, `"th"`, `"tn"`, `"tr"`, `"ts"`, `"ug"`, `"uk"`, `"ur"`, `"uz"`, `"ve"`, `"vi"`, `"war"`, `"wo"`, `"yo"`, `"yue"`, `"zh"`, `"zu"`

- **`voice_cloning_strength`** (`integer`, _optional_):
  How closely the dubbed voices match the original speakers, from 0 to 10. Higher keeps more of each speaker's voice and accent; lower sounds more natural in the target language. Default value: `7`
  - Default: `7`
  - Range: `0` to `10`

- **`keyterms`** (`list<string>`, _optional_):
  Names and terms to get right in the dub, such as brand, product or people's names: they help the speech recognition catch these words and the translation keep them as written. Up to 1,000 terms, each at most 50 characters and 5 words, without the characters < > { } [ ] \.
  - Default: `[]`
  - Array of string

**Required Parameters Example**:

```json
{
  "video_url": "https://v3.fal.media/files/monkey/q1fDPhrpfjfsaRmbhTed4_influencer.mp4",
  "target_language": "es"
}
        for log in update.logs:
           print(log["message"])
result = fal_client.subscribe(
    "veed/dubbing/pro",
    arguments={
        "video_url": "https://v3.fal.media/files/monkey/q1fDPhrpfjfsaRmbhTed4_influencer.mp4",
)
print(result)
```

### JavaScript

Ensure you have the JavaScript client installed:

```bash
npm install --save @fal-ai/client
```

Then use the API client to make requests:

```javascript
import { fal } from "@fal-ai/client";
const result = await fal.subscribe("veed/dubbing/pro", {
  },
  logs: true,
  onQueueUpdate: (update) => {
    if (update.status === "IN_PROGRESS") {
      update.logs.map((log) => log.message).forEach(console.log);
    }
  },
});
console.log(result.data);
console.log(result.requestId);
```
